Product #84541 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of rabbit IgG and the light chains common to most rabbit immunoglobulins, but does not react against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.

Store protected from light at 4°C until opened. To extend shelf life, add an equal volume of glycerol to achieve approximately 50% glycerol and store at -20°C.
DyLight 550 Amax = 562 nm; Emax = 576 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
They are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled rabbit immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
