본 항체는 rabbit IgG의 heavy chain과 대부분의 rabbit immunoglobulin에 공통적인 light chain에 반응하며, 비면역글로불린 혈청 단백질에는 반응하지 않습니다. 다만, 다른 종의 면역글로불린과 교차 반응할 수 있습니다.
제품은 개봉 전까지 4°C에서 빛을 차단하여 보관해야 합니다. 장기 보관 시 글리세롤을 50% 농도로 첨가하여 -20°C에서 보관하면 안정성이 향상됩니다.
DyLight 650의 Amax = 654 nm, Emax = 673 nm이며, Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio는 로트에 따라 다를 수 있습니다.

이차항체는 HRP, AP, 형광 등 다양한 검출 시스템과 함께 사용 가능하며, 여러 개의 이차항체가 하나의 1차항체에 결합함으로써 신호 증폭을 통해 감도를 높일 수 있습니다.
일반적으로 대상 종의 면역글로불린을 이용해 숙주 동물을 면역화하여 제작되며, 추가적으로 친화 정제, 절단, 라벨 결합 등의 과정을 통해 높은 특이성을 갖습니다.
