Target Information
MARK3 is a kinase that regulates cell polarity through phosphorylation of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs). It is activated by phosphorylation and phosphorylates tau proteins MAP2 and MAP4. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for MARK3.
