Takara MiraCell Endothelial Cells (from ChiPSC12) Kit
The MiraCell Endothelial Cells (from ChiPSC12) Kit contains highly pure (>95% CD31-positive) vascular endothelial cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells. These cells are purified without using antibiotic or metabolic selection, ensuring high physiological relevance and consistency.
In addition to expressing vascular endothelial markers such as CD31, Tie2, vWF (von Willebrand factor), and CD144 (VE-cadherin), these cells maintain functional characteristics including Dil-Ac-LDL uptake activity and endothelial tube formation ability across different manufacturing lots. Therefore, they are suitable for characterization and functional analysis of endothelial cells, toxicity testing in drug discovery, and regenerative medicine research.
This kit includes one vial of endothelial cells (>1.5 × 10⁶ viable cells) and growth medium components. The culturing components are also available separately (Cat. # Y50053).
This kit was jointly developed with iHeart Japan Corporation and utilizes an endothelial cell production technique developed by the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) at Kyoto University.
The Cellartis human iPS cell line [ChiPSC12 (Cat. # Y00285)] was cultured under feeder-free conditions using the [Cellartis DEF-CS500 Culture System (Cat. # Y30010)] during manufacture.
