Target Information
T Lymphocytes are a subtype of white blood cell central to cell-mediated immunity. They mature in the thymus from thymocytes. Most human T cells rearrange their alpha and beta chains on the cell receptor and are termed alpha beta T cells (α/β T cells), which are part of the adaptive immune system.
