Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse TIM-1, -2, -3, -4, or -6 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Mouse TIM-5 (T cell immunoglobulin mucin-5; also hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1-like) is a presumed member of the TIM family of immune regulatory proteins.
Based on other TIM molecules, it is expected to be a type I transmembrane protein with one V-type Ig-like domain and a Ser/Thr-rich mucin region.
Mouse TIM-5 shares 47% amino acid identity with mouse TIM-2.
