Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
AS160 (TBC1D4) is a GTPase-activating protein for RAB2A, RAB8A, RAB10, and RAB14.
Isoform 2 promotes insulin-induced translocation of the glucose transporter SLC2A4/GLUT4 to the plasma membrane, enhancing glucose uptake.
Mutations in this gene are associated with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus type 5 (NIDDM5).
