Target Information
Interleukin-4 (IL-4)는 활성화된 T 세포에서 생성되는 면역 조절 사이토카인으로, interleukin 4 receptor의 리간드 역할을 합니다. IL-4는 광범위한 생리적 작용을 가지며, IL-13과의 수용체 공유로 인해 두 사이토카인 간의 기능적 중첩이 발생할 수 있습니다. STAT6는 IL-4의 면역 조절 신호 전달에 중요한 역할을 하는 전사 인자입니다. IL-4 유전자는 IL-3, IL-5, IL-13, CSF2와 함께 염색체 5q 상의 사이토카인 유전자 클러스터를 형성하며, IL-13과 근접한 위치에 존재합니다. IL-4, IL-13, IL-5 유전자는 약 120 kb 범위 내에서 장거리 조절 요소에 의해 조절됩니다. IL-4 delta 2는 알려진 splice variant입니다.
