Target Information
This gene encodes a protein with limited similarity to L-amino acid oxidase, containing conserved residues involved in catalysis and FAD cofactor binding. Expression is induced by interleukin 4 in B cells, while upstream transcripts are found in other cell types. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
