Target Information
CD49b (Integrin alpha 2, Integrin alpha 2 chain, VLA-2 alpha chain, HM alpha 2)는 인테그린 계열에 속하는 당단백질로, 분자량은 약 150 kD입니다. 이 단백질은 CD29 (Integrin beta 1)와 복합체를 형성하여 이종이합체 인테그린 VLA-2 (integrin alpha 2 beta 1, 또는 GPIa/IIa)를 구성합니다.
VLA-2는 라미닌, 콜라겐, 피브로넥틴 등의 세포외 리간드에 대한 수용체 역할을 하며, 리간드 결합 시 세포 내 신호 전달 경로가 활성화됩니다.
CD49b는 NK 세포, NK-T 세포, 단핵구, 혈소판, 상피세포에서 발현되며, 또한 적응면역세포인 T 및 B 세포에서도 일부 아형에서 발현됩니다. 특히 비장 내 CD4+ T 세포, 장의 상피내 및 고유층 림프구, LAG-3를 함께 발현하는 CD4+ Tr1 세포에서 발견됩니다.
