Target Information
CAMK2B (CaMKII beta)는 serine/threonine kinase로, 시냅스 가소성(synaptic plasticity), 시냅스 소포 이동, 유전자 발현 조절에 관여합니다. 중추신경계에서 주요 kinase로 작용하며, 장기 강화(long-term potentiation)와 신경전달물질 방출에 기능할 수 있습니다. CaMKII는 alpha, beta, gamma, delta의 네 가지 isozyme으로 존재하며, 조직에 따라 함께 또는 개별적으로 발현될 수 있습니다. CaMKII alpha는 Ca2+/CaM 복합체가 autoinhibitory domain에 결합할 때 Thr286에서 자가 인산화되며, 이는 Ca2+/CaM trapping 과정으로 알려져 있으며 시냅스 정보 부호화에 관여하는 것으로 생각됩니다.
