This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, mouse, rabbit, and rat based on sequence homology.

Target Information
Glutamate is the main excitatory neurotransmitter in the brain. It acts on ligand-gated receptor channels such as NMDA, AMPA, and kainate receptors involved in fast excitatory synaptic transmission.
Metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) regulate enzymes producing second messengers via G-protein coupling.
Group-I receptors (mGluR1a, mGluR5) stimulate phospholipase C; Group-II and -III receptors (mGluR2, mGluR3) inhibit adenylyl cyclase activity.
