Product Specific Information

The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except circulating erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic portion of CD45 has tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays an important role in lymphocyte activation.

• Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells
• Recommended Usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Target Information

CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent in non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 regulates Src-family kinases, lymphocyte development, and antigen receptor signaling. Multiple isoforms arise from alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions. CD45 plays essential roles in T- and B-cell activation, cytokine receptor signaling, and integrin-mediated signal transduction.
