Target Information
GPR17은 G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) 계열에 속하는 orphan 수용체로, 중추신경계에서 희소돌기세포 분화 및 수초화(myelination)에 관여합니다.
뇌, 신장, 심장, 제대정맥 내피세포에서 발현되며, uracil nucleotides와 cysteinyl leukotrienes에 대한 이중 특이성을 가집니다.
G(i) 단백질을 통해 adenylyl cyclase 억제를 매개하며, 허혈 후 뉴클레오타이드 및 cysteinyl leukotrienes에 의한 뇌 손상에 관여할 수 있습니다.
