Target Information
TET2는 5-methylcytosine(5mC)을 5-hydroxymethylcytosine(5hmC)으로 전환하는 dioxygenase로, DNA 탈메틸화 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 CpG-rich 전사 시작점에서 O-GlcNAc transferase(OGT)를 모집하여 히스톤 H2B GlcNAcylation을 촉진합니다.
TET2 유전자 변이는 Polycythemia vera 및 Myelodysplastic syndrome과 관련이 있습니다.
