For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Tryptase gamma (TPSG1), also known as serine protease 31 or transmembrane tryptase, is an enzyme encoded by the TPSG1 gene in humans. It belongs to the trypsin-like serine protease family (peptidase family S1).
Tryptases are active only as heparin-stabilized tetramers and are resistant to known endogenous proteinase inhibitors.
Several tryptase genes are located on chromosome 16p13.3, including four functional genes: alpha I, beta I, beta II, and gamma I, with additional allelic variants (alpha II, beta III, gamma II).
Beta tryptases are primarily expressed in mast cells, while alpha tryptases are predominant in basophils.
TPSG1 differs from other family members by having a C-terminal hydrophobic domain, which may act as a membrane anchor.
Tryptases are implicated in the pathogenesis of asthma and other allergic or inflammatory disorders.
