Product Specific Information

Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW).
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, small aliquots should be kept at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Epithelial sodium channels (ENaC) are amiloride-sensitive members of the Degenerin/epithelial sodium channel (Deg/ENaC) superfamily of ion channels.
These channels share a common structure with two short intracellular termini, two membrane-spanning segments, and a large extracellular loop rich in cysteine residues.
ENaC isoforms (α, β, γ) are expressed in kidney, lung, and colon and play key roles in sodium and fluid balance.
ENaC mediates aldosterone-dependent sodium reabsorption in the distal nephron, regulating blood pressure.
Association with CFTR chloride channels contributes to ENaC regulation.
Mutations in ENaC subunits can lead to hypertension (Liddle’s syndrome) or pseudohypoaldosteronism (PHA-1).
