Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CHST4 is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CHST1, CHST5, and CHST6 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes an N-acetylglucosamine 6-O sulfotransferase. The enzyme transfers sulfate from 3′-phosphoadenosine 5′-phospho-sulfate to the 6-hydroxyl group of N-acetylglucosamine on glycoproteins. It is localized to the Golgi apparatus and participates in the modification of glycan structures on ligands of the lymphocyte homing receptor L-selectin.
Alternate splicing in the 5′ UTR results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein.
