SDHAF1 (Succinate dehydrogenase complex assembly factor 1)는 미토콘드리아 호흡 사슬의 복합체 II(SDH complex)의 구성 요소 중 하나입니다. 이 단백질은 SDH 조립에 필수적이지만, 생체 내에서 복합체와 직접적으로 결합하지 않습니다.
SDHAF1 유전자 변이는 SDH 결함성 유아 백질뇌병증(미토콘드리아 복합체 II 결핍증)과 관련이 있습니다. SDHAF2와 달리 SDHAF1은 종양 억제 단백질로 간주되지 않습니다.
