This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Phospholipase A2 (PLA2) catalyzes the release of fatty acids from glycero-3-phosphocholines. The best-known varieties are digestive enzymes secreted as zymogens by the mammalian pancreas. PLA2 enzymes show close homology to venom phospholipases of snakes. Other forms of PLA2 are found in brain, liver, lung, spleen, intestine, macrophages, leukocytes, erythrocytes, inflammatory exudates, chondrocytes, and platelets.
