Secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (SFRP1)는 Frizzled 단백질의 Wnt 결합 부위와 유사한 시스테인 풍부 도메인을 포함하는 SFRP 패밀리의 구성원입니다. SFRP 단백질은 Wnt 신호전달의 가용성 조절자로 작용하며, SFRP1과 SFRP5는 망막의 광수용체 세포 극성 결정에 관여할 수 있습니다. SFRP1은 심장에서 가장 높은 수준으로 발현되며, 여러 인체 조직에서 발현됩니다.
