Target Information
TRAIL은 TNF 리간드 패밀리에 속하는 사이토카인으로, 주로 변형되거나 종양화된 세포에서 세포자멸사(apoptosis)를 유도하지만 정상 세포에는 영향을 거의 미치지 않습니다.
TRAIL은 TNF 수용체 슈퍼패밀리의 여러 구성원(TNFRSF10A/TRAILR1, TNFRSF10B/TRAILR2, TNFRSF10C/TRAILR3, TNFRSF10D/TRAILR4, TNFRSF11B/OPG)과 결합할 수 있습니다.
TRAIL의 결합은 MAPK8/JNK, caspase 8, caspase 3의 활성화를 유도하며, DR4 및 DR5와 같은 death domain 수용체뿐 아니라 DcR1, DcR2와 같은 decoy 수용체에도 결합합니다.
TRAIL은 type II 막 단백질로 다양한 인간 조직에서 발현되며, TNF 및 Fas ligand와 유사하게 apoptosis와 NF-κB 활성화를 유도합니다.
