Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 크로마틴 내에서 DNA와 결합하는 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 핵심 히스톤 단백질들과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 히스톤은 다양한 번역 후 변형을 통해 크로마틴 구조를 직접적으로 변화시키거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 조절합니다. 히스톤 H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 여러 종류의 변형(메틸화, 아세틸화, 인산화 등)을 받아 세포 과정에 영향을 미칩니다.
