Goat anti-Chicken IgM antibody recognizes chicken immunoglobulin M and shows no cross-reactivity with other chicken immunoglobulin classes in immunoelectrophoresis. Goat anti-Chicken IgM antibody may cross-react with IgM from other species.
Target Information
Anti-Chicken secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for chicken immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies enable the use of multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
