- In direct ELISAs, less than 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Prostasin/Prss8 is observed.
- Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
Target Information
This gene encodes a trypsinogen, a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. The enzyme is highly expressed in prostate epithelia and is one of several proteolytic enzymes found in seminal fluid. The proprotein is cleaved to produce a light chain and a heavy chain linked by a disulfide bond, and it acts on peptide linkages involving the carboxyl group of lysine or arginine.
