Product Specific Information
- For IHC on PFA-fixed tissues, incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
L1 protein is a major capsid protein of Human Papilloma Virus type 16.
HPV types 6 and 11 are associated with benign conditions such as genital warts, while types 16 and 18 are strongly linked to cervical, vaginal, and vulvar malignancies.
