Target Information
Adenylate Kinase 9 is involved in maintaining cellular nucleotide homeostasis by catalyzing the interconversion of nucleoside phosphates. It exhibits both nucleoside monophosphate and diphosphate kinase activities, phosphorylating AMP, dAMP, CMP, and dCMP with ATP or GTP as phosphate donors. It also catalyzes the production of ATP, CTP, GTP, UTP, dATP, dCTP, dGTP, and TTP from diphosphate substrates, showing substrate preference of CDP > UDP > ADP > GDP > TDP.
