CDK1(Cell Division Control protein 1)은 세포주기 조절의 핵심 효소로, 유사분열 개시를 위한 START 단계 완료에 필수적입니다. CDK1은 M-Phase Promoting Factor 복합체의 촉매 소단위로 작용하며, 진핵생물 전반에 걸쳐 보존되어 있습니다.
CDK1은 G2/M기 세포에서 Bcl-2의 인산화를 매개하여 세포사멸 지연에 관여하며, 안드로겐 비의존성 전립선암에서 CDK 억제제 NU2058의 치료적 가능성이 보고되었습니다.
