For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The protein encoded by the PTPRE gene belongs to the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family, which regulates cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, mitotic cycle, and oncogenic transformation.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants exist:

• Receptor-type PTP: short extracellular domain, single transmembrane region, and two tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains
• Nonreceptor-type isoform: distinct hydrophilic N-terminus

Studies in mice suggest that PTPRE plays regulatory roles in RAS-related signal transduction pathways, cytokine-induced STAT signaling, and activation of voltage-gated K⁺ channels.
