The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
THAP1 is a DNA-binding transcription regulator that controls endothelial cell proliferation and G1/S cell-cycle progression. It binds specifically to the core DNA sequence 5'-[AT]NTNN[GT]GGCA[AGT]-3' and modulates expression of pRB-E2F cell-cycle target genes, including RRM1. It forms part of the THAP1/THAP3-HCFC1-OGT complex required for transcriptional regulation of RRM1 and may also promote apoptosis under serum-withdrawal or TNF-induced conditions.
