MARCKS는 protein kinase C의 기질로, 세포막에 위치하며 actin filament crosslinking 단백질입니다.
Protein kinase C에 의한 인산화 또는 calcium-calmodulin 결합은 actin 및 세포막과의 결합을 억제하여 MARCKS가 세포질에 존재하게 합니다.
