Target Information
SETD2는 히스톤 H3의 Lys-36을 트리메틸화(H3K36me3)하는 주요 히스톤 메틸트랜스퍼레이스로, 전사 활성화의 에피제네틱 마커를 형성합니다.
이 효소는 FACT 복합체 및 POLR2A와 상호작용하여 염색질 구조 조절에 관여하며, DNA 불일치 수선 과정에서 MSH6을 포함한 MutSα 복합체의 조기 크로마틴 결합을 유도합니다.
또한 DNMT3A를 모집하여 헤테로크로마틴 상태 유지에 기여하고, 스플라이싱과 RNA 중합 효소의 신장 과정과 연관되어 있습니다.
혈관신생 과정 및 바이러스 감염 시 특정 프로모터 조절에도 관여합니다.
