Antibody detects endogenous levels of total p15 INK4b.
Target Information
The INK4 family proteins (p15^INK4b, p16^INK4a, p18^INK4c, and p19^INK4d) bind and inhibit CDK4 and CDK6, but not other CDKs such as cyclin E-Cdk2, cyclin A-Cdk2, and cyclin B-Cdk1. These proteins are expressed in tissue-specific patterns, indicating non-redundant roles. p18^INK4c is expressed during the G1 to S transition and is maximally induced as cells enter S-phase.
