Target Information
FARP1 functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for RAC1 and may play a role in semaphorin signaling. It is involved in the assembly and disassembly of dendritic filopodia, formation of dendritic spines, regulation of dendrite length, and ultimately synapse formation.
