Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
SCAND1 (SCAN domain containing 1), also known as RAZ1 or SDP1, is a nuclear protein involved in transcription regulation. It is widely expressed, with highest levels in kidney, thyroid, liver, prostate, and testis.
SCAND1 contains one SCAN box domain but lacks a zinc finger motif. The SCAN box is a conserved leucine-rich motif (~60 amino acids) that mediates protein–protein interactions.
SCAND1 interacts with ZNF38, ZNF191, and MZF-1, as well as ZNF202 and PPARγ, suggesting roles in transcriptional regulation related to energy homeostasis and lipid metabolism.
