For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
PTP1B (PTPN1) is a tyrosine-protein phosphatase that regulates endoplasmic reticulum unfolded protein response by mediating dephosphorylation of EIF2AK3/PERK, thereby inactivating its kinase activity.
It plays roles in CKII- and p60c-src-induced signal transduction cascades, regulates EFNA5-EPHA3 signaling for cell reorganization and repulsion, and modulates hepatocyte growth factor receptor (MET) signaling through dephosphorylation.
