Target Information
TG1019 (OXER1) is a G protein-coupled receptor that acts as a chemoattractant for eosinophils and neutrophils. It is expressed in multiple tissues except the brain, with highest levels in liver, kidney, peripheral leukocytes, lung, and spleen.
TG1019 interacts with the OXE protein to form a Galpha i/o-coupled receptor complex that signals through PLC/calcium, MEK/ERK, and PI3K/Akt pathways. Upon stimulation with 5-oxo-6E,8Z,11Z,14Z eicosatetraenoic acid (5-oxo-ETE), TG1019 induces intracellular calcium mobilization and rapid activation of MEK/ERK and PI3K/Akt signaling. It may also play a role in downregulating cAMP production.
