Target Information
Sin1은 S. pombe의 SIN1에 해당하는 인간 단백질로 처음 확인되었습니다. 이후 연구에서 MEKK2와 상호작용하는 Mip1 단백질과 동일함이 밝혀졌습니다. MAPKAP1은 비활성 MEKK2와 복합체를 형성하여 MEKK2의 활성화와 이합체화를 억제함으로써 JNK1/2, ERK1/2, p38 및 ERK5 MAPK 경로를 차단하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 TOR 신호전달 과정에서도 중요한 역할을 하며, 세포 성장과 증식을 조절하는 데 관여합니다. MAPKAP1은 TOR/rictor 복합체의 유지에 기여하지만 TOR/RAPTOR 복합체에는 영향을 미치지 않으며, Akt의 특이적 인산화를 가능하게 합니다. 여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 isoform이 보고되어 있습니다.
