Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)는 281 아미노산 길이의 Type-1 Th1 특이적 세포 표면 당단백질로, CD4+Th1 및 CD8+Tc1 세포에서 발현됩니다.
TIM3는 IgV-like 도메인과 mucin-like 도메인, 그리고 세포질 내의 Tyrosine phosphorylation motif를 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 대식세포 활성화 및 자가면역 질환 유도에 관여하며, Th1 매개 면역 반응을 조절하고 면역 관용을 유도합니다.
병리학적 측면에서 TIM3는 실험적 자가면역 뇌척수염(EAE)과 같은 Th1 의존성 자가면역 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
