This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Rat, Horse, and Bovine.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
BRD4 is a ubiquitously expressed nuclear phosphoprotein and a member of the BET protein family. It is the human homolog of mouse MCAP and includes:
- Two N-terminal bromodomains
- A central ET-domain
- Several kinase-like motifs in its N-terminus
BRD4 is expressed as two isoforms, with the longer variant containing a proline- and glutamine-rich C-terminal region. It acts as a chromatin-binding protein whose expression is induced by growth stimuli, interacting with proteins such as RFC and SPA-1 to regulate cell growth and chromosomal dynamics during mitosis. BRD4 also serves as a cellular target for the E2 protein of papillomavirus.
