Target Information
Ran binding protein 3 (RanBP3)는 핵공복합체(Nuclear Pore Complex, NPC)에 위치한 Ran GTPase 결합 단백질로, 세포질과 핵 사이의 물질 이동에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
RANBP3는 두 가지 스플라이싱 형태(RanBP3a, RanBP3b)로 발현되며, 두 형태 모두 FXFG 모티프를 포함하고 있습니다. 이는 일부 뉴클레오포린의 특징으로, 아미노 말단(40–57번 아미노산)에 핵 위치 신호(NLS)를 가지고 있으며, 산성 카복실 말단 구조는 단백질의 스위치 기능에 필수적입니다.
