Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
IGF2BP2 belongs to the IGF-II mRNA-binding protein (IMP) family and recruits target transcripts to cytoplasmic protein-RNA complexes.
It contains four KH domains and two RRM domains, binding to the 5′ UTR of IGF2 mRNA to regulate translation.
Alternate splice variants encoding different isoforms have been characterized.
Autoantibodies against IGF2BP2 have been detected in sera from some patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
