Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a transcription factor that contains C2H2-type zinc-fingers. It also includes a positive regulatory domain found in other zinc-finger transcription factors involved in B cell differentiation and tumor suppression. Mouse studies suggest involvement in CNS development and neuronal storage disease pathogenesis. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
