CD99 (E2, MIC2)는 T 세포의 접착 특성과 일반적인 세포사와는 다른 형태의 프로그램된 세포사 조절에 관여하는 막관통성 당단백질입니다. CD99의 역할은 corticothymocytes와 같은 특정 T 세포 분화 단계에서 특이적이며, CD99R 아이소폼의 발현은 T, NK, 및 myeloid 세포로 제한됩니다.
