Target Information
LTK (TYK1), ALK, and Ros are receptor tyrosine kinases with sequence similarity to the insulin receptor subfamily.
LTK (leukocyte tyrosine kinase) is expressed in murine B-lymphocyte precursors and forebrain neurons.
ALK (anaplastic lymphoma kinase) is highly expressed in the nervous system; truncated forms occur in certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas.
The c-Ros gene, identified as an oncogene, is expressed in limited epithelial cell types and may play a role in epithelial development.
