Target Information
CD55 (decay-accelerating factor, DAF)는 GPI-anchored 막 단백질로, 자가 세포를 보체 활성으로부터 보호합니다. CD55와 CD97 간의 상호작용은 T 세포 조절에 관여하며, CD55는 보체 조절 기능을 수행합니다.
종양에서 CD55는 신생혈관 형성, 종양 발생, 침습성 및 세포사 회피에 기여합니다. CD55는 적혈구에서 70 kDa의 막 결합 글리코프로틴으로 존재하며, 다른 세포에서는 O-glycan 함량이 높아 분자량이 더 큽니다.
활성화된 C4b 또는 C3b 보체 단편에 결합하여 보체 경로의 조립을 방지하고 분해를 가속화합니다. Cromer 관련 혈액형 항원을 포함하며, 두 가지 스플라이스 변형체가 존재합니다. 주요 변형체는 막 결합형 단백질을 생성하고, 다른 변형체는 낮은 수준의 용해성 단백질을 생성합니다. CD55는 전립선암의 성장과 생존에 관여하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
