Target Information
STAT5 alpha는 STAT 전사인자 패밀리의 구성원으로, 사이토카인 및 성장인자 자극에 의해 수용체 연관 키나아제에 의해 인산화됩니다. 인산화된 STAT5 alpha는 핵으로 이동하여 전사 활성인자로 작용합니다.
이 단백질은 IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드에 의해 활성화되며, 종양 형성과 관련된 TEL/JAK2 유전자 융합에서도 활성화가 유지됩니다.
또한, STAT5 alpha는 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아포토시스 기능을 수행하며, 생식, 수유, 면역 기능 및 체성 성장 등 다양한 생리적 기능에 관여합니다.
