Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DAPK1.

Target Information

DAPK1 is a large, calmodulin-dependent kinase involved in gamma-interferon-induced programmed cell death and is a potential tumor suppressor.
It participates in multiple cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell survival, apoptosis, and autophagy.
DAPK1 mediates both type I apoptotic (caspase-dependent) and type II autophagic (caspase-independent) cell death.
It phosphorylates PIN1, inhibiting its catalytic activity and nuclear localization, and also phosphorylates TPM1, STX1A, PRKD1, BECN1, TSC2, RPS6, MYL9, and DAPK3.
