Target Information
Zyxin은 세포외기질에 대한 세포 부착을 매개하는 actin-rich 구조물인 focal adhesion에 관여하는 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 아연 결합 인산화 단백질로, focal adhesion 및 actin cytoskeleton을 따라 집중적으로 존재합니다.
Zyxin은 N-말단의 proline-rich domain과 C-말단의 세 개의 LIM domain을 가지며, 각각 신호전달 단백질과의 상호작용 및 단백질-단백질 결합에 관여합니다. 세포 부착 자극에 의해 유도되는 유전자 발현 변화를 매개하는 신호전달 경로에서 메신저 역할을 할 수 있으며, actin bundle의 세포골격 조직 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 동일한 아이소폼을 암호화하는 여러 전사체 변이가 존재합니다.
