Product Specific Information
- Antibody is tested in direct ELISA.
- For Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
CD40 Ligand (CD40-L), also known as CD154, is a membrane glycoprotein and differentiation antigen expressed on the surface of T cells. It stimulates B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin secretion in the presence of cytokines. CD40 Ligand induces cytokine production and tumoricidal activity in peripheral blood monocytes and co-stimulates proliferation of activated T cells, accompanied by production of IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2.
